The use of oxidized coal in coking batch increases the analytical moisture content and packing density; impairs the plasticity and ductility; reduces the carbon and hydrogen content; increases the oxygen content; reduces the gross coke yield and the yield of tar, benzene, and unsaturated compounds; increases the yield of carbon dioxide, pyrogenetic tar, and inverse coke-oven .
